A slimmer Fazlin who is the picture of health.

SUZANNA PILLAY speaks to a woman who lost 20kg in six months!

Fazlin Jamil, 30, Administrator

IF you think losing weight on your own is impossible, Fazlin’s story will inspire you. By eating wiser and diligently working out at the gym on her own without a trainer, Fazlin shed approximately 20kg in six months.

Celebrity Fitness, her gym, was so proud of her achievement that they highlighted it on their signboard for three months.

Fazlin said she is motivated to stay fit because good health is giving her a better quality of life.

“I am more energetic and I no longer feel tired or lazy. Additionally, knowing that I am healthy mentally and physically keeps me going.”
At the gym every day from Monday to Sunday, her workout regime includes exercise classes like body combat, body pump, dancing and the like.

“I love working out at the gym and attending mostly cardio classes, but I also join a yoga class for flexibility and balance.”

Q: Do you have a special diet?
A: I don’t have a special diet but I do watch my calorie intake. I eat anything I feel like eating, but I make sure I burn it back.

Q: What are some of the obstacles that deter you from working out?
A: When I am feeling ill or under the weather, I take a break from my workouts to get plenty of rest to get better.

Q: How do you maintain your weight?
A: I watch my diet and exercise regularly to burn the extra calories I consume. I also monitor my weight every month for fluctuations in weight. If there is a weight gain, I will work extra hard to get rid of it.

Q: Have you always maintained a healthy lifestyle, or was it circumstances that led you to adopt it?
A: I wasn’t aware of the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle until recently. Given that diabetes and high blood pressure are part of my family’s medical history, I realised the urgency of keeping fit.

Q: Do you keep fit for personal and health reasons, or is it because of society’s perception?
A: It is a combination of all three. Personally, aside from health reasons, I was tired of trying on clothes I liked but didn’t fit. As for social pressure, I felt intimidated by it because people like to make fun of the hefty.

Q: As you grow older, do you think it is more important to look after your health?
A: Of course, because studies have shown that exercise can help one live longer. So it’s important to start looking after your health now.

Some of apple Preparing Apples for Freezing

Enzymes in light colored fruits such as apples, pears and peaches can cause oxidative browning as soon as the fruit is peeled or cut. Browning can cause loss of vitamin C. Because fruits are usually served raw they are not usually blanched to prevent this discoloration. Instead, chemical compounds are used to control enzymes in these fruits.Woman in exercise gear eating apple.

The most common treatment is ascorbic acid (vitamin C). Ascorbic acid may be used in its pure form or in commercial mixtures of ascorbic acid and other compounds. Browning can also be halted temporarily by placing fruit in citric acid or lemon juice solutions or in sugar syrup. However, these measures are not as effective as treatment with ascorbic acid in its pure form.

Apples, as well as other fruits, retain better texture and flavor if packed in sugar or sugar syrup. However, sugar is not necessary to safely preserve fruit. Fruits packed in syrup are generally best used for uncooked desserts, those packed in syrup or unsweetened are best for most cooking purposes, because there is less liquid in the product.

Freezing Apples in Syrup

This syrup recipe will make 5 1/3 cups syrup which will cover approximately 6 pints or 3 quarts of apple slices. Use rigid freezer containers or zip-closure freezer bags.

2-1/2 cups sugar
4 cups water
3 pounds apples
1/2 teaspoon ascorbic acid powder (1500 mg)*

To make syrup, dissolve sugar in lukewarm water, mixing until the solution is clear. To prevent browning add 1/2 teaspoon ascorbic acid powder (1500 mg) or equivalent in finely crushed vitamin C tablets. Stir to dissolve. Chill syrup before using. Select fresh full-flavored apples that are crisp and firm, not mealy in texture. Wash, peel and core. Slice medium apples into twelfths and large apples into sixteenths. Place 1/2 cup syrup in each pint-size container and slice each apple directly into chilled syrup. Press apples down in containers and add enough syrup to cover apple slices. Leave 1/2 inch headspace in each pint (or 1 inch in each quart-size container). Place a small piece of crumpled water-resistant paper, such as waxed paper, on top of each container to hold apples slices down under syrup. Seal, label, date and freeze at 0°F or below. Use within one year.

*To use lemon juice: drop apple slices into a solution of two tablespoons lemon juice and two quarts water. Drain well before covering with syrup.

Freezing Apples without Sugar

Apples frozen without sugar are generally used for cooking. Can be used for pie making too.

Wash, peel and core apples. To prevent darkening, dissolve 1/2 teaspoon (1500 mg) ascorbic acid powder or equivalent of finely crushed vitamin C tablets in 3 tablespoons water. Sprinkle over apples. Place apple slices in zip-closure freezer bags, label, date and freeze. Treated apples can also be frozen first on a tray leaving space between each piece. Pack into containers as soon as slices are frozen (approximately 2-4 hours). Freeze for up to one year at 0°F or below.

Dry Sugar Packed Apple Slices

Follow directions for "Freezing Apples without Sugar"; mix 1/2 cup sugar to each quart apples slices. Place apples in containers, press fruit down, leaving 1/2 inch headspace for pints and quarts. Seal and freeze for up to one year at 0°F or below.

Specially For Ladies, it's time to FINALLY end the frustration with your body...
Learn How a 27-Year Old Texas Beauty & a 59-Year Old Grandmom Both Discovered the Same Secrets that Finally Allowed Them to Shed That Extra Stubborn Belly Fat That They Were Fighting with for Years & Get a Sexy Flat Stomach...
...and by Using These Unique Dietary Tricks & Workout Techniques, They are Both No Longer Self Conscious About Their Body, and are Finally Comfortable Showing Off Their New Sexy Waistlines in that Little Bikini, Sexy Little Dress, and the Tight Jeans & Cute T-Shirt That They Had Been Dying to Wear!

by Mike Geary - Certified Nutrition Specialist, Certified Personal Trainer (CPT)
Let me guess...
You've already tried every "miracle diet" that's come along and nothing has worked to help you shed that excess tummy fat, right?
You've probably also done all of the hundreds of crunches, situps, leg lifts, and other useless abs exercises, and that stomach of yours doesn't seem any flatter, does it?
You might also think that anything labeled at the grocery store as "low fat", "sugar free", "low-carb", or "whole grain" are good for you, right? Think again! You've been deceived by the clever marketing of huge multi-million dollar food corporations...
FACT - Did you know that most foods labeled as "sugar free" or "low-carb" actually contain artificial sweeteners, sugar alcohols, and other additives that create a hormonal mess inside your body, actually stimulating your body to STORE more belly fat and stimulate cravings! And foods labeled "whole grain" only have to contain a small fraction of whole grains where the majority can still be refined starches and sugars that spike your blood sugar faster than a sugar-laden soda!
What About Ab Machines?
You may also have tried a couple of those crappy "abdominizer machines" or "ab rocker-roller-lounger" gadgets you saw on the late night infomercial, yet you still see no signs of toned sexy abs developing, right? And don't even get me started on those worthless "ab-belts"!
You've probably also done the hours and hours of boring cardio in the past, and that didn't seem to strip off the unsightly belly fat either, right?
And you were just flat out scammed at the supplement store when you bought those "advanced fat burner" pills that you saw in the clever magazine ad...
FACT - Did you know that supplements like the bogus fat burner pills aren't even regulated in the US to assure that there's even any active ingredients at all in the pills?
Yep, according to US law (ever since the DSHEA Act of 1994), there's no oversight or regulation of supplement companies to assure that their claims are accurate or that they are even honest about what's in the bottle. With several thousand supplement companies, that leaves room for a lot of scam artists and a LOT of worthless products that don't cause any fat loss in your body at all.
Well, that was a waste of money!
So... If Hours of Cardio, Hundreds of Crunches, $100's of Dollars of Wasted Fat-Burner Pills, and the Gimmick Ab-Belts & Abdominizer Machines Don't Work... What Does Work to Get That Tight Sexy Stomach?

Guava (Psidium guajava), an important food crop and medicinal plant in tropical and subtropical countries is widely used like food and in folk medicine around of the world. In many parts of Africa, the leaf, stem-bark, and roots of guava are used traditionally for the management, control, and/or treatment of an array of human disorders.

Guava fruits and leaves

Ancestral medicinal use of guava today is however supported by numerous biomedical studies concerning the properties of leaf extracts. Guava leave is used traditionally in African folk medicine for several ailments, including diabetes mellitus, diarrhoea, cough, painful menses, and hypertension. It is also used to treat tooth decay, gum infection, sore throat, to disinfect wounds and as an antiseptic.

For instance, the Southeast Nicaraguan indigenous communities of Cuna and Waunana, make a tea from the leaves and bark of the guava for treatment of diarrhoea and dysentery, while the Sumu, Panamahka, Twahka, Ulwa, and Bawihka tribes use it for upset stomachs, vertigo, and to regulate menstrual cycles.

In India, decoction of the leaves and bark of guava is used to cure diarrhoea, dysentery, vomiting and sore throats, and to regulate menstrual cycles. The tribes of the Amazon use leaf decoction for mouth sores, bleeding gums, as douche for vaginal discharge and to tighten and tone up vaginal walls after labour.

Some of the anecdotal, folkloric, ethno medical uses of guava leaves and bark has been scientifically appraised by experts and found they indeed have there scientific basis under experimental paradigms. A study in the 2005 edition of the American Journal of Chinese Medicine assessed the effect of using the extract of guava leaves and Juglans regia (walnut) leaf extracts to germs that cause pimple(acne), and found it to be beneficial in treating pimples on the face, especially when they are known to have anti-inflammatory activities

The study was done by Qadan F, Thewaini AJ, Ali DA, Afifi R, Elkhawad A, Matalka KZ., all from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical Technology, The University of Petra, Amman, Jordan. It enrolled 38 men and women with pimples on their faces.

They cultured acne-causing bacteria Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes) as well as Staphyloccocus aureus and epidermidis from 38 acne patients. They then tested the effectiveness of these extracts of guava and walnut leaf in killing acne-causing bacteria.

It found that these two extracts have significantly better antimicrobial effects on the Staphyloccocus bacteria in vitro (or in test-tube environments) as compared to tea tree oil, as well as doxycycline and clindamycin antibiotics. However, it has lower antimicrobial activities on P. acnes, as compared to the chemical antibiotics.

There are many over-the-counter (OTC) preparations for treatment of acne. Sold as lotions, gels, creams, and cleansers, OTC products can be unsafe to buy because of the potential adverse effects chemical agents have on natural skin.

This is especially true for skin conditions like acne, where the use of harsh chemicals could further worsen the matter. Therefore, an alternative treatment for acne was needed. This created a great interest towards the possible effect of natural substances that are obtainable from medicinal plants that have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activity, which are commonly employed for the treatment of acne.

Its use to treat painful menses was substantiated by another study titled: “Effect of a Psidii guajavae folium extract in the treatment of primary dysmenorrhoea: A randomised clinical trial” which was published in the March 2007 edition of the Journal of Ethnopharmacology.

A double-blinded randomised clinical trial was conducted in 197 women with primary dysmenorrhea. Four intervention groups were defined: two extract doses (3 and 6 mg/day); ibuprofen (1200 mg/day); placebo (3 mg/day). Participants were followed-up individually for four months. The main outcome variable was abdominal pain intensity measured according to a visual analogue scale (VAS).

The average age of participants was 19 years; they started menstruation about the age of 12 years. Participants had menstrual cycles of 28 or 29 days, with menstruation lasting five days and mean of pain intensity of 8.2 on the VAS. During each successive treatment cycle, participants experienced a lower pain intensity score.

After adjusting each cycle for baseline pain, treatment compliance and other variables, the group receiving 6 mg/day extract had significantly reduced pain intensity while the group receiving the 3 mg/day extract did not show a consistent effect throughout the three cycles.

They concluded that at a dose of 6 mg/day, the standardised phyto-drug (Psidii guajavae folium extract) reduced menstrual pain significantly compared with conventional treatment and placebo. In addition, the traditional use of guava in the treatment of such ailments like diabetes and hypertension was corroborated by another study by Ojewole JA from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa.

The results of the experimental animal study titled “Hypoglycemic and hypotensive effects of Psidium guajava Linn. (Myrtaceae) leaf aqueous extract,” indicated that the leaf aqueous extract of guava leaves possess hypoglycemic and hypotensive properties, and thus lend pharmacological credence to the suggested folkloric, ethno-medical uses of the plant in the management or control of adult-onset, type 2 diabetes mellitus and hypertension in some rural African communities. .

Although the exact mechanisms of action of the plant’s extract still remain speculative at present, but it was suspected that its numerous chemical compounds constituents such as the tannins, polyphenolic compounds and flavonoids, account for the observed effects of the plant’s leaf extract.

Guava leaf tea of guava is commonly used as a medicine against gastroenteritis(Dysentry) and child diarrhoea by those who cannot afford or do not have access to antibiotics. A study that screened the antimicrobial effect of essential oils and methanol, hexane, ethyl acetate extracts from guava leaves against diarrhoea-causing bacteria: Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella spp. and Escherichia coli.

The essential oil extract showed ability to kill some of these diarrhoea-causing germs like S. aureus and Salmonella spp. thus supporting the use of guava leaf extracts and essential oil in cases where access to commercial antibiotics is restricted.

The Brazilian researchers said guava leaf extracts and essential oil could be important potential sources of new antimicrobial compounds, according to the study published in the 2008 edition of the Rev Inst Med Trop Sao Paulo.

Garlic not effective for cholesterol control

A study from Stanford University casts doubt on the effectiveness of garlic to lower LDL (low density lipoprotein) cholesterol levels in adults with moderately high cholesterol. LDL cholesterol is widely known as “bad cholesterol,” and is believed to be a leading contributor to heart disease.

Christopher Gardner, Ph.D., and colleagues conducted a randomized, placebo-controlled trial studying whether three different formulations of garlic could lower LDL cholesterol. The study participants were randomly divided into four groups to receive raw garlic, a powdered garlic supplement, an aged extract supplement, or a placebo.

The 169 participants who completed the study had their cholesterol levels checked monthly for the duration of the 6-month trial. None of the formulations of garlic had a statistically significant effect on the LDL cholesterol levels.

The authors caution that these results should not be generalized for all populations or all health effects. An accompanying editorial in the journal Archives of Internal Medicine points out that LDL cholesterol levels are only one factor contributing to heart disease, and that this trial did not investigate garlic’s effects on other risk factors, such as high blood pressure.

Eat Your Sunscreen

Focus on these five foods to boost your defenses against sun damage and skin cancer.

By Catherine Guthrie
When it comes to protecting your skin from the sun, what you put on your plate may be just as important as what you slather on your body. "Foods that are high in antioxidants can help reduce your free–radical load and protect your skin from the sun's worst effects," says Homer Black, Ph.D., a professor of dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Free radicals generated by the suns ultraviolet (UV) rays are the main cause of sun damage–like burns, premature aging, and liver spots–and certain skin cancers. Over the past decade, an array of studies has suggested that dietary antioxidants can mop up free radicals and significantly reduce your risk of sunburn, precancerous skin growths, and squamous cell carcinoma (see "Skin Cancer Basics," right).

1. COLORFUL FRUITS
Too much sun can hurt plants as much as it can hurt humans. "When you and I go out in the sun, we put on sunscreen. Plants use color as sunscreen," says Ralph Felder, M.D., Ph.D., author of The Bonus Years Diet (Perigee Trade, 2008) and an internist in Phoenix. "The more colorful the plant, the higher its protection against unwanted rays." Some of the most colorful plants get their hue from lycopene, a naturally occurring pigment–or type of carotenoid–found in red and pink fruits. Carotenoids help people by clustering in those places most vulnerable to sunlight: the eyes and the skin.

Raw tomatoes are high in lycopene, but cooked tomatoes are even better for you, since cooking releases lycopene from its "packaging." In a 2001 study, volunteers who ate 40 grams (about 3 tablespoons) of tomato paste, plus 10 grams (about 2 teaspoons) of olive oil (to aid absorption) daily for 10 weeks, were 40 percent less likely than their tomatoeschewing peers to get burned when researchers exposed a patch of their skin to ultraviolet rays.

TRY IT
Cooked tomatoes are in everything: tomato juice and paste, soup, sauce, and ketchup–all of which contain the highest concentrations of lycopene your body can use. You can also get helpful amounts of lycopene from watermelon, guava, and pink grapefruit. Other carotenoids are easy to find: Stick to brightly colored fruits and veggies such as blueberries, strawberries, and red, yellow, and orange peppers.

Aromatherapy Healing Concept

CVT utilize the aromatherapy concept as a nutrient for the brain/ mind. The aromatherapy - called 'Essential Nutrition' will give calmness to those who inhale it. The white rose is the most essential element in the aroma vibration oil. The white colour contains of seven-colour spectrum of the rainbow where each colour represents seven meridians in the human body. We use this concept and method in our very special product - Aromatherapy Vibration 'Seri Wajah'.

CVT also introduce the Genetic Code System (GCS) in determining major and minor disease in the human body. There are four genetic codes classification in the human body that are thin, very thin, stout and fat. Besides determining a major and minor disease in the human body, the natural body size can be known as well. In CVT treatment, there is a very high interrelation between the self-colour and the GCS. This combination terms will make the diagnosis process easier in determining the formula that has to be given to the patient.

CVT utilizes the applied kinesiology as a form of diagnosis. Applied kinesiology (AK) provides practitioners the most accurate diagnosis for their patients. CVT divides twenty points according to the number of glands and organs on the human body; from these points, the weakest point (represents the unbalance energy) can be determined. Then the certain formula will be given to the patient according to the number of that point.

Heal Thyself—Spotlight on Tendinitis (page 1 of 4)

By Julia Van Tine

When Linda Tepper developed intense pain in her left arm from her elbow to her wrist, her doctor thought it might be a pinched nerve. He suggested a diagnostic dye-injection procedure, but she was wary. “It cost hundreds of dollars, and the dye would have been injected into my neck,” says Tepper, a 55-year-old secretary at the State University of New York at Purchase, “so I said no.” Instead, she was sent home with prescriptions for a muscle relaxant and the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) Celebrex.

But the drugs didn’t help. Two months later, still in pain, Tepper visited an acupuncturist, who diagnosed tendinitis of the elbow. After two 45-minute sessions of needle therapy, the pain disappeared and hasn’t returned.

Tepper, who rarely picks up a tennis racket—and never plays golf—doesn’t appear to be a typical candidate for tendinitis, which involves inflammation of the ropelike tissues that attach muscle to bone. But she spent 14 years as a student hauling around heavy books, which can make a person just as vulnerable to the condition as jocks on the tennis court or running path. Any repetitive activity, including word processing, manual labor, playing an instrument, even needlework or video games, can cause a tendon’s tough, glistening-white fibers to become inflamed. The result is that the area gets flooded with dead cells, inflammatory chemicals, and free radicals that cause pain, tenderness, and swelling.

Persistent tendinitis can progress into something more serious called tendinosis, in which the tendon’s collagen actually begins to break down. In fact, some doctors believe that many diagnoses of tendinitis are actually tendinosis—and it’s important to get it right, since treatment may vary slightly, and tendinosis takes much longer to heal. If your symptoms persist longer than about six weeks, see a sports physician or a physiatrist; these practitioners are generally more familiar with tendinosis and can help you diagnose your condition correctly.

Using an NSAID, as Tepper did, is the standard treatment for tendinitis, along with the tried-and-true remedy known as RICE (rest, ice, compression, elevation). But NSAIDs are hard on the stomach and, over time, can lead to ulcers and kidney problems. Some people benefit from a cortisone injection directly into the tendon, but that can only be given sporadically, as cortisone weakens tendons. And surgery, a last-resort treatment, brings mixed results and has obvious disadvantages.

Fortunately, nature’s medicine chest is stocked with safe, effective treatments that can soothe a tender tendon and help it heal. The key is to attack the problem as soon as it arises by backing off from the repetitive motions that caused it and easing the resulting inflammation. That way it’s less likely to progress to chronic pain or disability.

Ease Inflammation
The truth is that natural NSAIDs are not quite as strong as synthetic ones, so if you’re really in pain at the beginning of a bout, OTC drugs might be your best bet. But you can try the natural versions, which won’t upset your stomach, and for pain that lasts more than about a week, it’s definitely advisable to switch to the natural types.

Choose from the list below, and don’t feel compelled to stick to just one: Chris Spooner, a naturopath at the Environmental Medicine Center of Excellence at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona.

Complementary and alternative medicine: What is it?

Ranging from herbs to acupuncture, alternative medicine is becoming increasingly popular. Learn the basics.

When you were a child and sprained an ankle or came down with the flu, you probably visited a family doctor or a pediatrician to treat your problem. As an adult, you most likely visit your primary care physician for what ails you. But now your friends are suggesting alternative medicine treatments that you've never heard of — things like homeopathy, ayurveda, acupuncture and herbs.

What are these alternative medicine treatments? Are they safe? Will they work? Get the basics yourself before starting any alternative medicine therapy, and always tell your doctor which ones you're trying.

What is alternative medicine? What is complementary medicine?

Alternative medicine generally refers to practices not typically used in conventional medicine. What's considered alternative medicine changes constantly as more and more treatments undergo rigorous study and are proved to be effective or not.

  • Complementary medicine is thought of as treatments used in addition to the conventional therapies your doctor may prescribe, such as using tai chi or massage in addition to prescription medicine for anxiety.
  • Alternative medicine is generally thought of as being used instead of conventional methods. For example, this might mean seeing a homeopath or naturopath instead of your regular doctor.

Integrative medicine: Combining complementary treatments with conventional care

Conventional doctors are learning more about complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) because they recognize that more than half of people try some kind of alternative treatment. Many health care institutions have begun integrating therapies that aren't part of mainstream medicine into their treatment programs. A number of medical schools now include education on nontraditional techniques in their curriculum. As complementary and alternative therapies prove effective, they're being combined more often with conventional care. This is known as integrative medicine. You're practicing integrative medicine when you choose to add a complementary treatment to an existing conventional treatment. For instance, you may decide to take an omega-3 fatty acid supplement to help keep your heart healthy in addition to statins your doctor prescribed to reduce your cholesterol. Remember, talk to your doctor before combining complementary and alternative treatments with conventional treatments to avoid possible problems.

What are the principles of complementary and alternative medicine?

Many alternative medicine practitioners base their work around a few common principles. Some of these are similar to what your conventional doctor might do, while others are quite different. Basic philosophies of complementary and alternative medicine include:

  • Prevention is key to good health. Taking steps to better your health before you get sick is the best way to keep yourself healthy.
  • Your body has the ability to heal itself. Alternative medicine practitioners see themselves as facilitators. To them, your body does the healing work, and treatment encourages your natural healing processes.
  • Learning and healing go hand in hand. Alternative medicine practitioners see themselves as teachers and mentors who offer guidance. To the practitioner, you're the one who does the healing.
  • Holistic care. The focus is on treating you as a whole person — recognizing that physical health, mental well-being, relationships and spiritual needs are interconnected and play a part in your overall health.

What are some examples of complementary and alternative medicine?

To make sense of the many therapies available, it might help to look at them in the broad categories that the National Institutes of Health uses for classification. Keep in mind that while these categories may be useful for understanding types of complementary and alternative medicine, the distinctions between therapies aren't clear-cut. Some treatment systems may use techniques from more than one category. For example, traditional Chinese medicine uses several types of complementary and alternative medicine. Some techniques may fit in more than one category. For example, acupressure could fit either in the category of manipulation and touch or in the category of energy therapies. Here are the broad categories of complementary and alternative medicine.

Healing systems
Healing systems are complete sets of theories and practices. A system isn't just a single practice or remedy — such as massage — but many different practices that all center on a philosophy or lifestyle, such as the power of nature or the presence of energy in your body. Many healing systems developed long before the conventional Western medicine that's commonly used in the United States.

Examples of complementary and alternative medicine healing systems include:

  • Ayurveda. This form of medicine, which originated in India more than 5,000 years ago, emphasizes a unique cure per individual circumstances. It incorporates treatments including yoga, meditation, massage, diet and herbs.
  • Homeopathy. This treatment uses minute doses of a substance that causes symptoms to stimulate the body's self-healing response.
  • Naturopathy. This type of treatment focuses on noninvasive treatments to help your body do its own healing. Naturopaths draw on many forms of complementary and alternative medicine, including massage, acupuncture, herbal remedies, exercise and lifestyle counseling.
  • Ancient medicines. These complementary and alternative medicine treatments include Chinese, Asian, Pacific Islander, American Indian and Tibetan practices.

What is Colour Vibration Therapy?
Colour Vibration Therapy (CVT) is the first treatment in the world pioneered by Prof. Dr. Sir Norhisham Wahab to combine light, colour and sound vibrations to treat patients from almost any illness or diseases. More importantly, CVT is not only based on science and scientific research, but it also does not infringe upon any religious teachings. It allows patients to heal naturally with no side effects.

While conventional medicines focuses on destroying a disease, the CVT treatment utilizes formulas that helps trigger the body to process necessary enzymes and amino acids needed to aid troubled cells. The real cure of illness lies in our often intoxicated bodies. CVT activates these cures by creating a balance and harmony in the body's overall well-being.

It helps to find the point of balance in the cell or organ and return the original energy to it, which evidently provides the cure for any illness. At CVT, we provide treatment for cancer, diabetes, gout, stroke, hypertension, drug addiction, asthma and various other diseases and ailments.

How CVT Explain Diseases

CVT believe that the disease is a form of energy. The law of energy states that the energy can neither be created nor be destroyed; it can only be transformed from one form to another repeatedly. CVT treats not only a physical disease, but also a spiritual disease such as a black magic and wedges/ poisons. When the body falls sick, it means that the energy of the body is unbalance.

It is the task of practitioners to balance the energy in the patient’s body. CVT believes that the best antidote is the natural antidote produced by the body. Only the human body can produce the right antidote at the right amount, the right place and the right time. CVT natural wave formula (NW) merely promotes the body to do it’s own task. By this way, our body will be cured naturally without any side effects.

Therefore, the energy of a sick body can be transformed (or converted) into energy that is healthy. CVT decline the concept of surgery in treatment. No matter how serious the condition of the organs, they can still be treated to its normal condition depending on how to maximize the usage of CVT formulation.

The law of conservation of mass and energy states that every type of energy is also a form of mass. Therefore atom is also a form of energy and vice versa.. In treating the disease, CVT is actually applying the same energy to the disease. For instance, if there is cancer in the liver, and the colour frequency of the liver is yellow, by utilizing the same yellow frequency or energy of atoms, it will resonate the liver to resonance and hence restore it to health.

Disease may appear as solid, liquid or gaseous form. Cancer or tumor is an example in solid form, blood cancer (leukimia) is an example of liquid form and when carbon dioxide contaminate the blood system in our body, the disease is in gaseous form.

The miracle of virgin coconut oil (vco)

A GLANCE OF VIRGIN COCONUT OIL

Modern research has shown that not all saturated fats are alike and coconut oil is unique in its structural make-up due to its medium chain fatty acids - the closest to those found in human breast milk that nature provides. They are the reason why coconut oil is used extensively in baby formula and also in sports drinks and energy bars, where it is usually described as MCT (medium chain tryglycerides). This disguises the fact that some form of coconut oil has been used. Medium chain fatty acids are more easily digested than fats found in other oils. This is because they are processed directly in the liver and immediately converted into energy. There is therefore less strain on the liver, pancreas and digestive system and, being easily digested, they also tend to improve the absorption of other nutrients.

Significantly, because virgin coconut oil is very stable, it is highly resistant to free radical generation when heated, even at high temperatures and is an especially safe oil to cook with. It does not contain trans fatty acids and does not break down, even at high temperatures, unlike many other oil.

Much research on the nutritional benefits of coconut oil has surfaced in recent years. Much of that research has been done by Dr. Mary G. Enig. Dr. Enig has classified coconuts as a "functional food", which provides health benefits above and beyond the basic nutrients.

Coconut oil is known as the "energy fat" and is favoured by dieters, athletes, and body builders. It is slightly lower in calories than most other fats and oils and is processed in the liver and converted directly into energy.

VIRGIN COCONUT OIL- PROCESSING

Virgin Coconut Oil can only be achieved by using fresh coconut meat or what is called non-copra. Chemicals and high heating are not used in further refining, since the natural, pure coconut oil is very stable with a shelf life of several years. There are currently two main processes of manufacturing Virgin Coconut Oil:

1. Quick drying of fresh coconut meat which is then used to press out the oil. Using this method, minimal heat is used to quick dry the coconut meat, and the oil is then pressed out via mechanical means.

2. Wet-milling. With this method the oil is extracted from fresh coconut meat without drying first. "Coconut milk" is expressed by pressing. The oil is then further separated from the water. Methods which can be used to separate the oil from the water include boiling, fermentation, refrigeration, enzymes and mechanical centrifuge.

The method we use for producing Bio-Asli Virgin Coconut Oil is the traditional fermentation method. The coconut milk expressed from the freshly harvested coconuts is fermented for 24-36 hours. During this time, the water separates from the oil. The oil is then filtered. To remove the balance moisture we applied another mechanical process. (that remains as our secret). The result is a clear coconut oil that retains the distinct scent and taste of coconuts. Laboratory tests show that this is a very high quality coconut oil, with the lauric acid content being 50 to 57%. This oil is not mass produced, principally just as it has been done for hundreds of years except it was handle in most modern hygienic invironment, using up-dated machinery and appliances, supervised by qualified engineers and food technologist. In addition, all of our coconuts are hand-picked within 24 hours of harvest. Only those nuts that produce the highest quality coconut oil are chosen, while the rest of the crop is sold to copra dealers. Also, the coconuts used to make our virgin coconut oil are grown in very rural areas, generally far away from metropolitan areas.

Bio-Asli VIRGIN COCONUT OIL

Bio-Asli Virgin Coconut Oil is a truly unrefined coconut oil. This coconut oil is made from organic coconuts. Coconuts are used fresh (within 24 hours of harvest) from small family farms in Sabak Bernam and other nearby rural places in southern Perak, the famous and renowned coconut cultivation area in Malaysia. The fresh coconut meat is shredded (wet milled), and then cold-pressed to make coconut milk. The milk is then fermented for 24-36 hours, and the oil is then separated and filtered from the curds. No chemical or high-heat treatment is used, and this oil contains no trans fatty acids. We do NOT mass produce this oil. It is made using traditional methods principally, but in most modern hygienic invironment, using up dated machinery and appliances, supervised by qualified engineers and food technologist. The production crew who produce the oil are also trained according to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards. This high-grade virgin coconut oil has a long shelf life due to the high anti-oxidant properties.

Basically our Bio-Asli Virgin Coconut Oil being produced in such the following method;

Made without heat processing

VIRGIN COCONUT OIL CONTENT

Since 1930’s research had been done by scientist either from Europe and USA, and revealed that virgin coconut oil made up of saturated polysaturated and monounsaturated fatty acids such as C6,C8,C10,C12,C14,C16,C18,C18-1 & C18-2. Amongst the nine fatty acid, C12 (lauric acid) make up approximately 45 – 55 percent of the total fatty acids content.
